Life After COVID
In June 2020 we were invited to the committee’s youth discussion panel to share our views on life after COVID. The panel was made up of around 15 representatives from youth projects chosen by Baroness Martha Lane-Fox, and our member Estelle represented us on the day shared our views with 12 members of the House of Lords. She told them that young migrants needs to be at the forefront of support after COVID- this includes a reduction in application fees for young people, an increase in asylum support to match Universal Credit, and an end to the No Recourse to Public Funds condition.
